"Nations, listen to me and proclaim (publish, broadcast) my words on the far-off shores. I scattered my people, but I will gather them and guard them as a shepherd guards his flock...I, the LORD, have spoken" Jeremiah 31:10,14. (TEV)

Greetings CyberChurch! Welcome to the new Olivet Website. My family and I welcome you. I am Pastor Kenneth T. Whalum, Jr., and I’m elated about the exponential growth that Olivet is experiencing here at the portals of a new millennium. Much of that growth has to do with the phenomenal impact of our ministry in cyberspace, the new frontier. Never in the history of humankind has there been such unlimited potential to reach untold millions of people with the life-changing message of God’s love.

In Isaiah 43:19 the Lord says, "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert". Right now, by means of the information superhighway, God’s new thing for YOUR life springs forth. By means of a mouse click a way can be made for YOU in your wilderness, and a river can flow in the desert of your circumstance!

Go ahead, point and click! Surf the web at our site. Find out about our internet Bible Study broadcast every day at 12:00 noon (CST) on Hallelujah 95.7. Listen and learn so that your words may gain more gravitas. What's gravitas, you ask? Gravitas is Latin for heaviness of substance (not sorrow); dignity, depth, and duty; doing what you have to do simply because you have to do it; the authority to open your mouth and speak without fear of what others will think.

May the bible studies help you to possess the gate of your enemies, even if the enemy is in you. Once you have posession, you can control access to what is inside the barrier, be it your relationship with God, your heart, your mind, your job, or your surroundings. Genesis 22:17 says "That in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;" Our purpose "as the sand which is upon the sea shore" is to add aesthetic value to our surroundings and to serve as a boundary of protection for our community.

Correspond with me at my email address. Watch God do a new thing in you. Your life will never, never ever be the same! Again, welcome.
