The New The New Olivet Baptist Church Credit Union

Hours: Wednesday: 5:30pm-6:30pm ∙ Saturday: 11:00am-1:00pm ∙ Sunday: Immediately after Sunday morning worship

 

The TNOBCCU was established in 1978 to provide a savings and loan vehicle for The New Olivet Baptist Church members.

The TNOBCCU is a state chartered, state audited credit union which is held to the highest standards of integrity and recordkeeping.

The TNOBCCU is a separate legal entity from The New Olivet Baptist Church, holding and maintaining separate records, accounts, assets and a five member board of directors who report directly to the pastor.

The The New Olivet Baptist Church fully invests in the TNOBCCU.

The TNOBCCU makes money from interest on loans and income from investments.

The minimum opening balance necessary to open an account is only $5.

You must be a member of The New Olivet Baptist Church to hold shares in the TNOBCCU.

Accreditations

The TNOBCCU is a full-fledge member of the National Credit Union Administration. This membership assures that all members' accounts are insured for up to $100,000.

Saving Plans

REGULAR SAVINGS

This is the "classic" savings account which offers competitive interest rates, easy access to funds, and is an insured account.

CHRISTMAS CLUB

Account which can be used as a holiday savings vehicle. Funds can be added throughout the year and a single check can be issued to account holder any time after Thanksgiving.

AUTOMOBILE

Loan directed towards purchase of automobile. All loans are evaluated and judged INDIVIDUALLY on its worthiness by the Board, the credit committee and The Pastor.
